Gary G. Graves

Gary G. Graves, 80, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Born November 22, 1945 in Linton, he was the son of Harold S. and Grace E. (Love) Graves.

Gary was a farmer. He also served as Fairplay Township Trustee and was a soldier in the Army Reserve.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Loretta H. Graves; his children, Kerry (Shelly) Graves, Robin Rose and Krista Graves; his grandchildren, Jarrett Rose, Brayton Rose and Haley Rose; siblings, Stanley (Diane) Graves and Darlene Holtsclaw; a sister-in-law, Marcia Graves and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Arnold Graves and a brother-in-law, Steve Holtsclaw.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Byron Holtsclaw officiating. Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in rural Lyons.
