Garner Franklin Anderson, 85, of Bloomfield, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born November 19, 1934 in Solsberry, he was the son of Tom and Janie (Dobson) Anderson.

He worked at Thompson in Bloomington and served his country in the United States Army.

Surviving relatives include: his wife Marjorie whom he married June 3, 1961; one son, Tony Anderson of Bloomfield; one daughter, Lori Werner (Jack) of Indianapolis; one brother, Bob Anderson of Montgomery and a sister, Beatrice Bailey of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vanus and Vernon Lee Anderson and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Unit at Glenburn Home in Linton.
