Frances Evelyn May 87, of Bloomfield, passed away at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 7, 1923 in New Castle, Wyoming she was the daughter of Franklin and Beulah (Townsend) Monroe.
She was a homemaker who also worked for Sarkes Tarzain in Bloomington and NSWC Crane. She attended Scotland Full Gospel Church.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Sharon Mushro (George) of Crest Hill, Illinois, Ronald May (Vonda) of Bloomfield, Kenneth May of Bloomfield, Loretta Hall (Richard) of Bloomington, Beverly Moss of Bloomfield, Charlotte Bucciarelli of Minooka, Illinois and Gary May of Bloomfield; one 1/2 sister, Virginia Egan of Solsberry; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great, grandchildren and one great, great, grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar May in 1990, two grandchildren and her parents.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Scotland cemetery in Scotland, Indiana, with Rev. Ron Helderman officiating. There will be no public visitation.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Scotland Full Gospel Church.
