Eunice "Naomi" Bays, 93, of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Hearthstone Health Campus. She was born on March 22, 1928 in Greene County, IN, to the late Frank and Grace (Teague) Corwin.

Naomi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a wonderful homemaker. She loved playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She did not know a stranger. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially working in her yard. She was a member of Cincinnati Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Dennis C. Bays; siblings, Ester Roberts, Warren Corwin, and Phyllis Holtsclaw; niece, Nancy Hacker.

Naomi is survived by her son, Dennis Bays (Carolyn); daughter, Ricki Bays; grandchildren, Matthew Bays (Rebekah), Michelle Oliver; great-grandchildren, Hudson Bays, Megan, Sarah, and Jordan Badger; great-great granddaughter, Emberlynn Reneer; numerous nieces,
nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday September 17, 2021, at Sylvania Wesleyan Church, with Rev. Rob Martindale officiating. Interment will follow in Sylvania Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at Sylvania Wesleyan Church.
