Erma M. (Skomp) Yake Hensley, 96, of Cloverdale and formerly of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday April 19, 2017 at The Waters of Greencastle.

Born March 16, 1921 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Roy and Maud (Thompson) Skomp.

Erma was retired from GE and had worked at the Linton Walmart, she was a member of the Newberry United Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include a son Robert Yake of Golf Port, Mississippi; a daughter Phyllis Brown of Cloverdale, Indiana; eleven Grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren.

Erma was preceded in death by a son, Neal Yake, one grandchild, one great grandchild, nine siblings and her parents.

Friends may call from 12 P.M. on Monday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Peggy Haywood officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
