Elsie M. Chaney, 86, of Avilla Indiana passed away at 5:45 P.M. on Wednesday April 30, 2008 at the Kendallville Manor in Kendallville, Indiana.
Born February 14, 1922 in Jackson Township (Greene County, Indiana) she was the daughter of Henry & Opal (Cooper) Babb.
Elsie was a homemaker
Surviving relatives include; One son Larry Chaney of Auburn, Indiana. One daughter Linda Sheehan of Warrenton, Virginia. 4 grandchildren Patrick Sheehan of San Angelo, Texas., Kerri Sheehan of Washington D.C., Kim Chaney & Kevin Chaney of Florida. 2 great grandsons Sean & Cody Sheehan. 1 sister Edna Snow of Kokomo, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband Alvadore Chaney on December 8, 1973., 3 Brothers and 1 sister.
Friends may call from 11 A.M. till the hour on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery in Bloomfield.
