Eleanor Louise Schloesser, 82, of Bloomfield, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015 at IU Health Hospice House.
Born November 30, 1932 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Elmer and Laura (Pendleton) Randolph.
She was a secretary for Indiana University retiring after 20 years of service.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Barbara Cagle of Johnson City; three sons, Ronald Schloesser of Poland, William Schloesser of Shelburn and Donnie Schloesser of Jasper; her siblings, Linda Taylor of Berne, Kenneth Randolph of Morristown, Dorothy Pellar of Hinesville, Georgia, Joe Randolph of Geneseo, Illinois and Marjorie Everhart of North Carolina; seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond C. Schloesser on January 9, 1979, one son, Thomas Dale Schloesser, two brothers, Carol Randolph and Richard Randolph and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to IU Health Hospice House.
