Eldeania M. Byers, 82, of Bloomfield passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 8, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born February 11, 1944 in Loogootee, Indiana.

She was a devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was caring for and spending time with her family. Eldeania was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving relatives include her husband of 62 years, Larry Byers, her two children, Kevin Byers and Lori Byers, two grandchildren, Blake Byers and Bailee (Zach) Ossip; two great grandchildren, Kash Byers and Kinsley Byers; and her siblings.

Eldeania was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday September 15, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Walnut Grove Cemetery with Rev. Jim Roach officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Eldeania’s name to Mineral Community Church.

Eldeania’s love and devotion to her family will remain in their hearts and memories always.
