Douglas Marion Roach, 80, of Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born May 3, 1942 in Mineral, he was the son of Lexie and Pearl (Cullison) Roach.

Doug was a truck driver and a farmer. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge encampment. He attended the Mineral United Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include: three sisters, Lillie Mae Baird of Bloomfield, Ella Lou Carter of Bloomington and Nellie Sue Blevens of Linton; one brother, Howard Lester Roach of Round Rock, Texas; and many special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great, great nieces and great, great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Roach and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jim Roach officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

Public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Mineral United Methodist Church in Doug's name.
