Dorothy Watkins, 90, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday October 7, 2006 at 1:00 pm at her residence in Greenwood.
Born July 9, 1916 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Ray and Clara (Chickadownz) Brown.
She was a homemaker and in earlier years attended Concord Baptist Church in Calvertville.
Survivors include: one son, Delbert Gene Watkins of Greenwood; one daughter, Marilea Demers of Bristol, Connecticut; one sister, Emma May Kidd of Indianapolis; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband whom she married in 1941, Aber watkins on February 2, 1988, two brothers, one son, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 am Wednesday October 11, 2006 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at the funeral home.
