Donna Mae McNutt (née Shardy), 67, of Bloomfield, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on March 11, 2026.

Donna was born on November 7, 1958, in Mercer, Pennsylvania, to Frank and Nancy Shardy, both of whom preceded her in death.

Donna spent many years teaching at Eastern Greene Elementary School, where she cared deeply for the children she worked with. She was known for her gentle nature and the quiet kindness she showed to everyone around her.

She was a member of Solsberry Christian Church and previously attended Cincinnati Christian Church. Donna enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors, and she especially loved raising monarch butterflies.

Donna is survived by her sons, David McNutt (Johanna) and Joshua McNutt (Kristin); her granddaughter, Winnie; and her sisters, Carol (Duane), Susan, and Diane. She was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, Jack McNutt.

In accordance with Donna's wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned.

Donna will be remembered for her kindness, humility, and the care she showed to the people in her life.
