Donna L. Fowler, 88, of Solsberry Passed away Tuesday April 4, 2023 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born September 22, 1934 in Bloomfield the daughter of Burge and Byrd Jane (Bays) Crowe.

Donna was a homemaker and had worked as the office manager at Van Buren water company. Donna graduated from Solsberry High School where she was a cheerleader, she married Donald Fowler in 1953 and he preceded her in death. Her strong faith and family were most important and always came first in her life, she was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Donna was a member of the Greene County Chapel Church and was a great cook, she adored animals and they loved her, she was a humanitarian believing in helping people, shopping was fun for her, she loved going to the Covered Bridge Festival every October.

Surviving relatives include her two children, Terri (Tim) Strauser, Gary (Shelley) Fowler, her three grandsons, Andrew Crouch, Dustin Crouch, Maxwell Don Fowler and one sister Dorothy (Chuck) Helms.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Fowler on December 20, 2017; four brothers, Alvin, Richard, Robert, John Crowe, two sisters, Marjorie Hudson, Wilma Hosteter and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 P.M. on Tuesday April 11, at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Rob Martindale officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Greene County Chapel Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations in Donna's name be given to Greene County Chapel Cemetery or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
