Doneva Townsend Ely, 70, of Bedford passed away Saturday February 6, 2021 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born May 12, 1950 in Linton, Indiana the daughter of Rodney "Fred" and Gladys M. (Goodlet) Townsend.

Doneva was a homemaker.

Surviving relatives include her husband Burton Ely, two children, Crystal Foster (Brace), Charles Rollins (Kelli), her five grandchildren, Ashlyn Foster, Sadie Foster, Brianna "Bri" Marroquin, Mariana "Boo" Marroquin, Jayanna "JJ" Marroquin, she has one sister, Marlen Flynn and one brother Dured L. Townsend (Sandy).

Doneva was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may come from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Masks are required and only 50 people are allowed in the Funeral Home at a time.
