Donald Wayne Horn, Sr. 64, of Spencer, passed away at 4:37 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his residence.
Born December 7, 1949 in Bloomington, he was the son of Jerry Lee Sr., and Sylvia Irene (Duncan) Horn.
He retired in 2012 as a plumber for Indiana University and attended the Cincinnati Christian Church. Don loved working outdoors, gardening, his lake and loved his children and grandchildren very much.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Patricia Horn of Spencer; one son, Donald Horn Jr. (Cora Beth) of Bloomfield; one daughter, Katherine Miller (Timothy) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Anissa Daney Horn, Nathaniel Wyatt Horn and Wiley Silas Horn; one brother, Jerry Lee Horn, Jr. of Mooresville; two sisters, Connie King of Indianapolis and Dianna Parsley of Owensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother, Clifford Nathaniel Horn.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Tony Stinson officiating.
Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army in care of Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home.
