Donald Eugene Baird, 74, of Doans passed away at 5:53 P.M. on December 14, 2006 on his way to the hospital in Bloomington.
Born November 15, 1932 in Doans Indiana he was the son of Richard & Myrtle (Jones) Baird.
He was a 1951 Graduate of Scotland High School in Scotland Indiana, he was a farmer and drove a school bus for Bloomfield School District for over 20 years. He was retired.
Surviving relatives include 1 daughter Paula Baird of Bloomfield. 1 Brother William (Mae)Baird of Bloomfield. 15 Nephews Steve, Larry, & Richard Baird. Ted Jones, Richard, & Jack Stogsdill, David, & Daniel Clodfelder, Van, Rob, & Kurt Eisenmann, Greg, Jeff, Chris, & Tim Tarvin, 8 Nieces Diana Rollins, Liz Shidler, Teresa Perry, Margo Fairbanks, Debbie Potter, Peggy Roberts, Jennifer Miller, Cindy Boyce.
He was preceded in death by his wife Grace A. (Tarvin) Baird January 21, 2004 whom he married on April 30, 1961. His parents 1 half Sister, 1 half Brother, & 1 infant Daughter
Friends may call from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. Sunday December 17, 2006 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 10 A.M. till the hour Monday.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday December 18, 2006 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will be at Scotland Cemetery.
