Dona Marie (Abrams) Smith, 84, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015 at Greene County General Hospital.
Born February 21, 1930 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Homer and Alverta (Flake) Abrams.
Dona was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church.
Surviving relatives include her two sons, Randy Lee Smith of Bloomfield and Walter Dale Smith of Bloomington, six grandchildren, Robbie Smith, Shelly Smith, Carrie Smith, Erin Smith, Joshua Allen and Dustin Allen, she has seven great grandchildren and one sister Maxine Todd.
Dona was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Smith in 2005, one son, Steven Joe Smith, one daughter, Pamela Sue Allen, one grandson, Willie Smith, one granddaughter, Britnee Smith, two brothers, Bud Amos Abrams and Homer Eugene Abrams, seven sisters, Laura Jones, Jessie Abrams, Grace Carmichael, Dorothy Newman, Esther Norris, Myrtle Bland, Anna Goad and her parents.
There will be no public visitation.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at Solsberry Cemetery with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will be in Solsberry Cemetery.
