Dollie Jane Michael 60, of Bloomfield, passed away Monday July 10, 2006 at 3:25 p.m. at Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 25, 1946 in Greene County, she was the daughter of John E. and Ora (Reed) Harris.
She was a homemaker, and later after her children were in school worked for Whites True Value and Ace hardware stores in Bloomfield along with several area nursing homes. She was a member of the Bloomfield First Christian Church and the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include: two sons, Warren and his wife Mary Michael and Charley and his wife Katrina Michael both of Bloomfield; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Jane, and Aaron Michael all of Bloomfield; two sisters, Deloris Thomasson and Luella Miller both of Owensburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loren Ray Michael on February 9, 2006 whom she married on October 18, 1963 and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday July 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. David Wilde officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 1 hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley Children's Hospital.
