Dennis L. Mitchell, 48, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday July 28, 2011 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 25, 1963 in Fort Knox, Kentucky the son of Ronald and Kate (Hayden) Mitchell.
Dennis was an Engineering Technician for NWSC Crane for 25 years, he was retired. He was a member of the Elnora Masonic Lodge # 616 in Elnora, Indiana.
Surviving relatives include his wife Sharon (LaPray) Mitchell of Bloomfield, Indiana; son Sonny Mitchell of Hope, Indiana; son Richard Woolley (Carmen) of California; daughter Samantha Levin (Doug) of Chicago, Illinois; step grandchildren; Kenzie Woolley of California and Shane and Leslie Parnell of California, and his parents Ronald and Kate Mitchell of Coal City, Indiana.
Dennis was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call on the family from 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday and 11 A.M. until the hour of service on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Elnora Masonic Lodge # 616 will have a memorial service at the Funeral Home Tuesday evening at 7 P.M.
Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Jim Dwyer officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
The family wishes any donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Dennis L. Mitchell's name.
