Deanna Kay Guffey, 81, of Newberry, Indiana passed away Thursday July 23, 2026 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.

Born December 24, 1944 in Newberry, Indiana the daughter of Hays Lester Fish and Lillian Farrell (Malone) Ray.

Deanna was retired from Walmart as a sales clerk; she was a member of the Newberry Nazarene Church.

Surviving relatives include her two sons, Doug (Patricia) Pearson, Tim (Rebecca) Pearson, her grandchildren, Brandee (Brian) Baker, Holly Pearson, Hunter Pearson, Timmie Pearson, Becca (Jace) Herndon, Jacob Pearson, her great grandchildren, Connor, Braden, Cameron, Brooks, Liam, Ava, Emma, Mattie, Iris, Lucas and London; she also is survived by one brother, Paul Fish and one sister, Debbie Messel.

Deanna was preceded in death by her husband Linza Wesley Guffey on January 3, 2013, one sister, Patty Frye, one brother, Bill Fish and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 10 A.M. until the hour of service on Tuesday July 28, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Ron Helderman officiating. Burial will follow at Newberry Cemetery.

The family ask that any memorial donations in Deanna’s name be given to Heart to Heart Hospice.
