David Ricky Lee, 72, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at his residence.

Born July 18, 1953 in Washington, Indiana, he was the son of Harold Sylvester Lee and Patricia (Oliphant) Lee Ward.

David was a heavy equipment operator for local union #841. He attended the Scotland Community Church.

Surviving relatives include: his wife of fifty-four years, Marilyn S. Lee; one daughter, Jolene Meredith; and two brothers, Harold and Dennis Lee.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Ann VanDeventer, one sister, Brenda Mitchell and his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Scotland Community Church, with rev. Bob Bruner officiating. Interment will follow in Scotland Cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the church.
