David L. Everett, 67, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday May 2, 2026 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon.

Born September 2, 1958 in Washington, Indiana the son of Myron C. and Phyllis J. (Bateman) Everett.

David was a farmer and Cattle rancher; he worked part-time at the Bloomfield School District; David was well known in the community and always ready to help a fellow neighbor. David married the love of his life Suzanne on May 6, 1983.

Surviving relatives include his wife Suzanne Everett, one daughter, Jennifer (Andrew) Faultless, one son, Douglas Everett, his grandchildren, Sara, Garrett, Gavin and Jase Faultless, McKenzie and Jake Everett, his sister, Peggy Cox, one niece, Nancy Denault, one nephew, Nathaniel Farmer, brother-in-law, Bill (Pam) Arthur.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Thursday May 7, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 10 A.M. Friday until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday May 8, 2026 at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

The family ask any memorial donations in David's name be given to Jenkins Funeral Home to help with expenses.
