Darrell Owen McNabb, 76, passed away at Owen Valley Health Campus on Wednesday October 23, 2019.

He was born on June 28, 1943 in Scotland, Indiana the son of Hallie and Lestel (Inman) McNabb.

He married Sandra Speas on November 24, 1962 and they lived in Scotland for 53 years before moving to Worthington in 2015.

He worked briefly at RCA before working several years in management of grocery retail. He spent the last 23 years of his working career as a supervisor for Masaterbrand Cabinets in Huntingburg.

Darrell is survived by his wife, four children, Bonnie McNabb, Lynn (Tim) Bennett, Brian (Tammy) McNabb, Cyndi (David) Sobransingh; he has five grandchildren, James (Amy Howard) Bays, Kodi (Keith) Pfaff, Shaylin Bays, Josiah and Abigail Sobransingh; one great grandson, Axle, five step-grandchildren, Amber (Keith) Dennis, Scott Bennett, Jason (Madison Patton) Bennett, Keith Hulen, Ryan (Christa) Hulen, seven step-greatgrandchildren, Alexys, Jasmaine, Jazlyn, Jaxon, Kaitlynn, Lucas and Brayleigh, and several nieces, nephews and his fur baby Dante.

Darrell was preceded in death by, three sisters, Martha Jean James, Claudia James and Shirley Speas, one nephew Ricky James and his parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Monday and 9 A.M. until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev Robert Bruner and Dr. Randy James officiating. Burial will follow at Scotland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
