Danny G. Pickett, 80, of Elnora passed away Thursday January 3, 2019 at Linton Nursing and Rehab.
Born September 9, 1938 in Greene County, the son of Wilson Jennings Pickett and Ethel Louise (Sensney) Pickett.
Danny was a coal miner, farmer and mechanic.
Surviving relatives include his children, Alan Pickett and Rita Hasler; his grandchildren, Courtney Byers (Ty), Travis Hasler (Erin), Jordan Hasler (Emily), Andrea Osborn (Andy) and Clayton Pickett (Brittany); his great-grandchildren, Michael Hasler II, James Dylan Byers, Madison Hasler, Henry Hasler, Asa Osborn, Anson Osborn and Rex Pickett.
Danny is also survived by four siblings, Hazel King, Lanny
Pickett, Jim Pickett and Dona Hauser.
Danny was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Pickett on September 10, 2015; two brothers, Bill Pickett and Rex Pickett and his parents.
Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Newberry with Chris Gehring officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
