Daniel Eugene Carpenter's Obituary
Daniel Eugene Carpenter 76, of Bloomington, passed away 9:42 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born November 26, 1933 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Joseph and Josephine (Michaels) Carpenter.
He was a self employed Truck driver for Carpenter Trucking.
Surviving relatives include: His wife of 58 years, Edith (Edwards) Carpenter; children, Chris Carpenter of Williamsville, New York, Danny Carpenter of Bloomington and Candace Cooper of Bloomington; brothers, Robert Carpenter of Lafayette, Dick Carpenter of Indianapolis and Harry Carpenter of Bloomington; sisters, Mary Kay Edwards of Rockledge, Florida, Edna Vandeventer of Bloomfield, Donna Horral of Mississippi and Martha Burch of Solsberry; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Ralph and Laverne Carpenter and his parents.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that all memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
