Dallas Ray Miller, 82, of Springville, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his residence.

Born January 24, 1934 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Clyde and Hazel (Marsh) Miller.

He was a supervisor in the steel industry and a United States Army veteran.

Surviving relatives include: three sons, Scott Miller of Chesapeake, Virginia, Jeff Miller of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Ronald Miller of Springville; one sister, Sharon Backus of Springville; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Rachel, Tanya, Allysa, Christopher and Andrew; and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Miller on January 30, 2003, one son, Steve Miller, two brothers, Kenny and Ronnie Miller and a sister, Janice Hirth.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jay Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Dishman cemetery.

Public visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
