Dallas "Stoney" Helms' Obituary
Dallas "Stoney" Helms, 88, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at his residence.
Born July 25, 1934 in Bloomfield, he was the son of Elsworth and Macel (Halderman) Helms.
"Stoney" served his country with the United State Army in the Korean War. He worked as a Superintendent for the Rogers Group in Bloomington.
Surviving relatives include: His wife, Linda (Jenkins) Helms; two children, Scott (Tami) Helms and DeDe (Tim) Cook; his grandchildren, Brant Cook (Stacy Nifong), Brady (Riley) Helms, Britton (Lexi) Helms and Brooks Helms; and one sister, Jeanette Gambill.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Jack Helms, one great grandchild, Banks Alden Helms and his parents.
"Stoney's" wishes were to be cremated and not to have any public visitation or services.
