Cynthia F. Carmichael, 61, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at her residence.

Born January 6, 1959 in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of William R. and Edith Hawkins.

She worked in Quality Control at Pioneer.

Surviving relatives include: her children, Stacey Mullis of Brazil, David Joseph Carmichael (Rebecca Jean) of Switz City, Travis Arthur Carmichael of Lyons and Shari Lee Carmichael-Sims (Bryan) of Bloomington; her biological mother, Phyllis Landis; her brothers, Charles Landis and Brett Landis; sisters, Debbie Schmitt, Beverly Ballard, Crystal Landis and Lisa Hill; and her 16 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Carmichael on March 19, 2017, brothers, David Hawkins, Warren Hawkins and William Hawkins Jr., Sisters, Catherine Baker and Bonnie Kay Hawkins and her parents.

Funeral services will be private. A public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
