Curtis Clarence Bucher, 100, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday August 27, 2013 at Greene County General Hospital.
He was born July 30, 1913 in Greene County the son of Harley and Elmira (Burcham) Bucher.
Curtis was a lifelong farmer of Taylor Township and a member of the Antioch Christian Church of rural Bloomfield.
Surviving relatives of Curtis include one son Joe Dean Bucher (Ruth)of Bloomfield. one daughter Karen Bucher, two granddaughters Jennifer Bucher and Pennie Lunsford (Robbie), three great granddaughters Hannah, Ashley, Samanth Jo and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Hasler) Bucher on January 10, 2004, his parents, four sisters: Jessie Bucher, Georgia Bucher, Josephine Baker and Ellen McElroy, and two brothers William Bucher and Lee Bucher.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday September 3, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, and 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until the hour of service at Antioch Christian Church.
Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday September 4, 2013 at the Antioch Christian Church in rural Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Antioch Christian Church Building Fund.
