Cloris "Sissy" Hardesty, 88, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday morning, July 26 at Greene County General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 23, 1926 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of James and Bertha (Wright) Hardesty.
Sissy retired in 1983, after working 28 years for MS Mount, M.D. in Bloomfield. Her favorite pastime was reading, playing euchre, bingo and traveling with friends and family.
Sissy was preceded in death by her twin sister Deloris and nine siblings.
She is survived by her loving nephew Mark Bush and several other nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 11am Wednesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Kevin Wrigley and Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church in Sissy's name.
