Charles L. Stalcup, 86, of Mooresville, formally of Bloomfield passed away at 12:25 A.M. on Tuesday October 2, 2007 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born April 28, 1921 in Terre Haute, Indiana he was the son of Charles B. & Zelda M. (Blaker) Stalcup.
He was the owner and operator of Stalcup Accounting in Bloomfield. He was retired. He was a member of the Allen Chapel United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, he attended the Plainfield Bible Church.
Surviving relatives include one daughter Karen Goda of Plainfield, Indiana. 2 granddaughters Michelle & Melinda Goda both of Plainfield. 4 brothers Robert Stalcup of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Eldon Stalcup of Bloomfield, Indiana. Willie Stalcup of Bedford, Indiana. Herbert Stalcup of Bloomfield, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his wife Roselind (Hays) Stalcup on June 10, 1980 and his parents.
Friends may call from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Friday October 5, 2007 and 10:00 A.M. till the hour Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday October 6, 2007 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Kevin Kottke officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
