Charles Roy Parker's Obituary
Charles Roy Parker 83, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at IU Health Hospice House surrounded by his family.
Born January 26, 1938 in Franklin, North Carolina, he was the son of Charlie and Edna May (Edwards) Parker.
He worked in Logistics for NASA and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include: his wife of 63 years, Mary Jane (Haas) Parker; one son, Chuck Parker (Joan) one daughter, Revonda Parker; a son-in-law, Alan Kirkman; and three grandchildren, Mark Alan Kirkman (Rachel), Arianna Parker and Isaac Parker.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Tamra Kirkman, one brother, James Parker, a sister, Polly Crawford and his parents.
There will be no public visitation or services. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
