Charles "Charlie" S. Martindale, 55, of Bloomington passed away at 3:00 A.M. on April 30, 2006.
Born July 14, 1950 he was the son of Samuel Andrew & Daisy (Fearnot) Martindale.
Charlie was recently retired from GE with 36 years of employment. He was a member of the Moose Lodge & AMVETS both of Bloomington. Being a highly-skilled craftsman and mechanic, he enjoyed spending time improving his vehicles, and most anything else.
Just like his father, he enjoyed wildlife and being outdoors. He was very hard-working, but looked forward to the reward of fun times with family and friends. "Let's do something, even if it's wrong!", he often said, expressing his desire to get out and enjoy life.
Survivors include his children Alicia Walls of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shad Eric Martindale of Bloomington, & Amber Yount of Bloomington. 2 Grandchildren Madeline, & Max Walls both of Cincinnati Ohio. 2 Sisters Dova Crowe of Bloomfield, & Lorelei Meadows of Heltonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister Donna Jacobs.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday May 4, 2006 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will be at Sylvania Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday May 3, 2006 & 9:00 A.M. till the Hour at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield
