Charles E. Hawkins, 65, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday January 8, 2020 at his residence.

Born September 23, 1954 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Charles E. and Aola Francis (May) Hawkins.

Charles was a musician, he was passionate about playing music, he would get so excited for weekends to play with the band, he also volunteered many hours in the concession stand at Bloomfield and worked as the automotive service manager at York Chevrolet in Brazil.

Surviving relatives include his wife Brenda Hawkins, his children: Amy Houser, Andrew Hawkins, Sarah Selby, Melanie Pal, Michael Adams, Shannon Adams, his grandchildren: Dru Houser, Zac Houser, Brady Houser, Parker Houser, Bryli McCallister, Chevy Selby, Ethan Selby, Gia Selby, Aubrey Adams, Kaleb Morales, Braelynn Ocampo, Britani Ocampo, Kaylen Adams, Uriah Adams, Caiden Chipman and Adelynn Jones.

Charles was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Hawkins and his parents.

Memorial visitation will be from 1 to 3 P.M. on Saturday January 18, 2020 at Mansions in Heaven Church.

Memorial service will be held at the Mansions in Heaven Church on Saturday January 18, 2020 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Erin Raper officiating. Burial will follow at Scotland Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to the Bloomfield Athletic Department in Charles name.
