Obituary

Channing M. "Chink" Vosloh, 89, a lifelong resident of Bloomfield passed away at 12:05 A.M. Friday April 17, 2008 at The Waters in Martinsville, Indiana.
Born May 30, 1918 in Bloomfield he was the son of William R & Verna (Parker) Vosloh.
He was a 1936 graduate of Bloomfield High School, he graduated from Butler University in 1940 with his Bachelors Degree, he received his Masters from Indiana University. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. Chink taught Social Studies and was a coach at Scotland, Marco, & Switz City Schools, he was the Principal at Midland, Shakamak, & Eastern Schools. Chink was a member of the Bloomfield American Legion Post # 196, and the Elks Club.
Surviving Relatives include his daughter Channa Beth Butcher & husband Steve of Martinsville, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rowena Esther Vosloh on November 29, 2000, & 4 Brothers.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 P.M. on Sunday April 20, 2008 and 1 P.M. till the hour Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
A Celebration of his life will be at 2:00 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ed Hostettler officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield with Military Graveside services by American Legion Post # 196.
