Cathy Parsley "Granny" Ward, 59, of Solsberry passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at her residence.
Born July 23, 1953 in Bedford, Indiana the daughter of Johnnie Parsley and Mary (Buher) Wrightsman.
Cathy worked at Modus Link as a factory worker, she was a very loving mother, grandmother and lover of chocolate. She was everything, Mom, Dad, Coach, Leader and Best Friend. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving relatives include her husband Alan Ward, of Solsberry, son, Andy Harper of Owensburg, daughter, Missy(Jackie) Arthur of Bloomfield; 5 grandchildren, Marissa Thompson, of Bloomfield, Isabella Harper, of Owensburg, William Harper of Owensburg, Garett Arthur of Bloomfield, and Gavin Harper of Owensburg. 1 great grandchild, Aubree Pfeiffer of Bloomfield. Her mother Mary Wrightsman of Bloomington, and brother, Jack Parsley of Ellettsville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Parsley; step mom, Maxine Parsley; step dad, Orval Wrightsman, Jr.; two brothers, Thomas Ray Parsley and Ivan Eugene "Pee-Dad" Parsley
Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday April 1, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday April 1, 2013 at Jenkins Funeral Home, with Jim Buher officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Owensburg Cemetery.
