Carolyn K. King, 76, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday August 12, 2015 at Glenburn Home in Linton.
Born July 22, 1939 in Greene County the daughter of Madge (Holtsclaw) Padgett.
Carolyn worked as a cook at the Crane cafeteria, she was a member of the Bloomfield Eastern Star, Bloomfield Rebecca Lodge, she was past president of the State Assembly of Rebecca Lodge from 1996 to 1997.
She is survived by her son Jeff (Deloris) King of Bloomington and a grandson Cody Gale King of Loogootee.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gale N. King on March 26, 2010, one son, Kevin King on September 10, 2009, one grandson, Justin King on August 21, 1998 and her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Sunday August 16, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Bloomfield Eastern Star will have a memorial service at 7:00 P.M.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Joe Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Howell Cemetery in Koleen.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Bloomfield Eastern Star or the Bloomfield Rebecca Lodge.
