Carolyn Fay Duncan, 84, of Westphalia, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
Born October 17, 1940 in Westphalia, she was the daughter of Herbert and Bonnie (Fiscus) Hagemeier. Carolyn was CNA and served as a police officer for the Town of Worthington. Later worked for Walmart as a greeter and cashier. She attended the Edwardsport United Methodist Church.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Tonia Long and Sharon Hansel; her twin sister, Marilyn Ramsey (Leo), sister, Sheryl Ramsey (Elmo); one brother, Harley Hagemeier (Sue); her grandchildren, Jack Daniel Long, James Dean Long, Lisa Marie Long, Crystal Starr (Long) Bowersock, Kenneth Franklin Long, Nathan Paul Michael, Nakita Rashawn Hansel, Kelsey (Hansel) Miller and Margaret Kellie Hansel; she was blessed with many great grandchildren and one great, great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Hagemeier and Jerry Hagemeier, her first husband, James Dean Rowe, her second husband, Virgil Duncan, one grandson, Ulysses Nikolas Hansel, a son-in-law, Jack Long and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Pastor Emily Moreland officiating.
Public visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Jenkins Funeral Home to help defray the cost of final expenses.
