Brenda Mae Lowder's Obituary
Brenda Mae Lowder, 74, of Bloomfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at her home in Richland Township in Greene County.
Brenda was born September 15, 1951 to George and Bonnie (Dowden) Schaad.
She worked and retired from Indiana Workforce Development. Brenda enjoyed going on trips with family and friends. She enjoyed her time with family and enjoyed activities with her grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 56 years, Walter Lowder; their children, Breena Lowder of Whitestown, Indiana, Lisa Lowder of Springfield, MS and Josh (Hannah) Lowder of Bloomfield; she is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicholas Moss, Meagan Moss, Haydi Patton and Luke Lowder; her aunt, Lois (Dowden) Boruff, Mike Collins, Janice (Bill) Boyd and Connie Collins.
A Graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday at Scotland cemetery. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Riley Hospital for Children or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
