Billy Bonnie Stewart Ashcraft Yates (Grandma Billy) passed on to her next venue on October 31, 2017. To honor her wishes, all announcements were withheld until after interment. Services were held on Saturday November 4, 2017 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with interment immediately following at Kentucky Ridge Cemetery.

Grandma Billy was born September 7, 1931 to Ada and Joseph Self and was part of a large family. She is preceded in death by brothers Clifton Snell (Ruby), Harrison Snell (Lula), James Hueston (Judy), and sister Estella Goodman (Alvis). Billy Bonnie is survived by her husband Thomas Eugene Yates of Lyons, brother Woodrow Hueston (Delores), and sister Lilly Sharon Mahan (Roger), Kenny, Lorene, Josephine, Obed, and Fredia Self round out the family of many brothers and sisters.

She is survived by four children Suzette Stewart Weakley (John), Michael Stewart, Joe Lynn Ashcraft Quinn (Phil), and Richard Ashcraft (Terri), and numerous grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children Eula Pearl Stewart Love, William Joseph Stewart and infant daughter Rosanna.

Grandma Billy, a larger than life individual, enjoyed music possibly as much as life itself and passed that love to many of her children and grandchildren. Throughout her life she performed with some of her own bands and on many stages; Later, she brought smiles by entertaining in nursing homes (Usually for individuals younger than herself).
