Beverice D. Hawkins, 67, of Owensburg passed away Tuesday December 29, 2015 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born July 2, 1948 in Newark, Indiana the daughter of Clarence and Goldie Belle (Ooley) Porter.

Beverice was a homemaker and a painter, she loved to quilt and loved all her children and her dog Benji.

Surviving relative include her husband Kenneth Earl Hawkins of Owensburg, her children, Susan Lorene Hawkins of Owensburg, Kenneth Duwayne Hawkins and Clint Earl Hawkins both of Bloomington, she has nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny, Emil, Buck and Jerry, three sisters, Vernice, Margaret and Betty, and her parents.

There will be no public visitation.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday January 2, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will at a later date at Flynn Cemetery.
