Betty Marie Schantz, 75, of Bloomfield formerly of Terre Haute, passed away at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born March 21, 1932 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Fred and Lucille (Mullis) Rollison.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethany Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Vicki Burger and her husband Phillip of Bloomfield; two sons, Tony Schantz and wife Teresa and James Schantz and wife Trish, all of Bloomfield; fourteen grandchildren and one great, grandson.
She was preceded in daeth by her parents and one Daughter, Karen Kay Bynum on September 4, 2002.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church in Lyons, with Rev. Tom Lapham officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Chapel cemetery in Lyons.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 1 hour prior to services Saturday at the church.
The family requests that all memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
