Betty J. Reed, 83, of Bloomington, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Majestic Care of Bloomington.
Born December 30, 1940 in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Amos and Ellen Josephine (Smith) Abrams.
Betty worked for RCA in Bloomington.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Linda Roberts; her Grandchildren, Michael John Reed, Sara Jo Roberts and Samantha Jo Roberts; her great grandchildren, Emma, Connor, Baylee and Hunter; and two siblings, Joan Carmichael and Danny Abrams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John David Reed on January 24, 2003, one son, Amos John Reed, an infant son, Michael David Reed; one grandson, David Reed and a daughter-in-law, Dianna Lynn reed.
There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
