Obituary

Betty Jo (Bentley) Hash, 80, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday September 22, 2011 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born September 14, 1931 in Jacksonville, Florida the daughter of Joseph B. and Mary Allie Zinny (Dempsey) Bentley.
Betty worked at RCA for thirty seven and a half years, she was a group leader of thirty of those years. She enjoyed and loved all her grandchildren and lost the love of her life on April 13, 2002. She was a member of the Solsberry Eastern Star since 1950, the Solsberry American Legion Auxiliary for 35 years, she was a member of the Sylvania Wesleyan Church and attended the Cincinnati Christian Church.
She is survived by her children; Garrell J. Hash (Linda) of Linton and Susan D. Hash Schroyer (Wes) of Bloomfield. She has six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, four great, great grandchildren and one brother John L. Bentley of Jacksonville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband Garrell A. Hash on April 13, 2002; one granddaughter, one sister, two half brothers and her parents.
Friends may call at the Cincinnati Christian Church from 4 to 8 P.M. on Monday and 10 A.M. Tuesday until the hour of service at the Church.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the Cincinnati Christian Church with Rev. Tony Stinson and Rev. Dave Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery with the Solsberry Eastern Star having a graveside service.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Riley Children's Hospital or Hospice of Greene County.
