Barbara L. (Higgins) Sullivan, 83, of Spencer passed away Sunday March 15, 2020 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born June 22, 1936 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Harvey and Eva (Flory) Higgins.

Barbara was a homemaker, she loved her family, camping and horseback riding.

Surviving relatives include her two daughters, Kimberly (Les Hall) Sullivan, Rita Boyd, her grandchildren, Shawn Andrew (Heather) Boyd, Stephanie (Jason Robbins) Boyd, Tiffany (William) Ferguson, her great-grandchildren, Bridgette Ann Boyd, Brooke Lynn Boyd, Brody Andrew Boyd, Brandon Lee Boyd, Jacklynn Ferguson and one sister Delores Porter-Sweeny.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Chester Keith Sullivan on December 25, 2001, infant daughter, Connie Darlene Sullivan, an infant sister Norma Nell Higgins, sisters and husbands, Thelma and Harold McIntosh Jr., Irene and Lee Mason, brother-in-law, Lloyd Porter and her parents.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday and 10 A.M. Wednesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. Burial will follow at Carmichael Cemetery.
