B. Ann Bucher, 65, of Bloomfield, passed away at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013 at her residence.
Born June 30, 1947 in Linton, she was the daughter of Jesse Paul Childers and Shirley Ann (Icenogle) Childers Berns.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Teddy E. Bucher; children, Timothy Alan (Tammy) Bucher of Decatur, Illinois and Jana Lynne (Bryan) Johnson of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Tristan Chase Roberts of Bloomfield, Eli Terrance Flatt, Kyla Jo Bucher and Kameron James Bucher all of Decatur, Illinois and Sophie Johnson of Bloomfield; one sister, Barbara Jean Durkee of Coupville, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Arthur Berns and a daughter, Amy Lynne Bucher.
Private services will be conducted at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will be in Antioch cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
In lieu of flowers please be generous to the Simon Cancer Center at the IU Medical Center in care of Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield for research into ovarian cancer, a "Silent Killer" of Women.
