Artie L. Workman 89, of Bloomfield, passed away 11:35 a.m. Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Lyons Health and Living Center.
Born September 26, 1921 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Milford and Abbie Meldina (Neeley) Godsey.
She was a custodian for Monroe Community School Corporation and attended Springville Pentecostal Church.
Surviving relatives include: grandsons, Dan Todd (Kim) of Bloomfield, Doug Todd (Tina) of New Palestine, and Dustin Todd (Heather) of Henryville; one sister, Alma Brottruf of Bedford; Daughter-in-law, Phyllis Todd of Bloomfield; eight great, grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Workman in 1991, one son, James E. Todd in 2005, six brothers, Oliver, Charles, Ernest, Hobart, Paul Robert, and Ivan, three sisters, Zelma, Mary, and Ruby and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Wendell Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Springville Cemetery West.
