Anne (Hunley) Ellis 74, of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Born November 29, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Earl and Mildred (McClin) Hunley.
She worked at NSWC Crane and was a member of the Bloomfield First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for 25 years, was in the choir and Volunteered with the Food Pantry. She was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Brad Ellis, whom she married September 1, 1963; her sons, Rob Ellis (Michele) of Bloomfield and Ron Ellis (Cheryl) of Greenwood; one daughter, Melinda Ellis of Brazil; her grandchildren, Justin Ellis (Jenna), Mason Ellis, Brianna Robison, Marc Ellis and Pyper Ellis; great grandchildren, Kasen Ellis and Hank Ellis and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Private services will be conducted at the Bloomfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Nathan Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry.
