Anna C. Goad, 95, of Norman Oklahoma passed away Wednesday November 17, 2010 at her residence.
Born October 9, 1915 in Greene County, Indiana the daughter of Homer and Alberta (Flake) Abrams.
Anna was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Norman Oklahoma.
Surviving relatives include four sons; Teddy J. Goad of Sylmar, California; Otis C. Goad of Licking, Missouri; William Edmond Goad of Arlington, Texas and Larry B. Goad of Cheraw, South Carolina. One daughter Iris Belvadene Buol of Norman, Oklahoma. Four sisters; Dorothy Newman of Solsberry, Indiana; Esther Norris, Dona M. Smith and Maxine Todd all of Bloomfield, Indiana. Twenty five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Theodore R. Goad in 1977, one son Homer Lee Goad, one daughter Carolene Ricondo, four sisters Grace Carmichael, Jessie Olive Abrams, Laura G. Jones and Myrtle Bland. Two brothers Homer Eugene Abrams and Amos John Abrams, two grandsons Charles David Palmer and Thomas Lyle Goad, one half sister May Horrell and one daughter-in-law Nancy Goad.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Monday November 22, 2010 and 12 noon Tuesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday November 23, 2010 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Bloomfield.
