Alice Lorene Pearson 83, of Bloomfield, Passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born March 17, 1936 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Elzsworth and Mamie Marie (Flater) Riggle.
Alice was a homemaker and attended the Bloomfield South Side Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Lee "Dick" Pearson; one son, Gerald Leon "Gary" Pearson (Angela); her grandsons, Brian Lee Pearson and Jude Levi Pearson (Alissa); one great grandson, Isaac Lee Pearson: and three step great grandchildren, Paytyn, Hunter and Elora.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma Strauser, Julia Kay Whiteman and Evelyn Riggle, brothers, Dane and Kenneth Riggle and her parents.
There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Grandview cemetery in Bloomfield, with Rev. Gerald Montgomery officiating. Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the Bloomfield South Side Wesleyan Church, 1172 South Seminary Street Bloomfield, Indiana 47424.
