Alberta Allen's Obituary
Alberta Allen, 83, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:35 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Golden Living Center.
Born April 2, 1932 in Martin County, she was the daughter of Estel and Dolly (Arthur) Reed.
She was an assembly worker for Sarkes Tarzain in Bloomington.
Surviving relatives include: three sons, Estel David Allen of Bloomington, Charles Allen of Bloomington and Robert Lee Allen of Bloomfield; one brother, James "Bud" Greenwell of Alabama; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Allen in 1986, eight sisters, four brothers and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Springville Cemetery West.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
